Sealing rubber for plastic flexible ducts 90 and 75 mm - 90 mm

Flat sealing ring for the airtight connection of plastic flexible ducts with an outer diameter of 75 or 90 mm and the plastic socket of the box.

Material composition

The sealing ring is made of TPE material.

TPE is a soft, dyeable unfilled mixture of SEBS (Styrole-Ethylene-Butylene-Styrole) thermoplastic elastomer that has very good physical properties and chemical resistance.

This makes the seal light and durable.  It is very flexible, has excellent resistance to bending. It has a non-slip and weather resistance, is ozone resistant, retains its flexibility even at low temperatures and provides excellent resistance to many chemicals. Abrasion and crack resistance are also excellent. It is resistant to low and high temperatures. It can be easily dyed. It is recyclable, which is another advantage compared to conventional rubbers. It also has good electrical insulation properties.

Use of TPE

TPE is used to produce seals, toys or, for example, automotive products. TPE can also be found in various products in many other areas. TPE is used to make handles for kitchen and outdoor knives, pliers and other tools.
