LUFTooL Trap Condensation Piece SPIRO - 200 mm

When the exhausted air has to pass through an unheated zone, it is necessary to ensure that only a minimum of condensate forms in the duct and that it does not mold and water does not flow into the heat recovery unit. LUFTooL Trap condensation pieces will help with this. The combination with pipes made of EPE or EPS insulators is ideal due to minimal thermal bridges.  The plastic condensate piece or condensate outlet is inserted into the HVAC thermal insulation pipe (EPE or EPS). In EPE and EPS designs, we offer it for air ducts with an inner diameter in sizes from 125 to 200 mm. The condensation piece removes excess moisture from the pipe. By inserting the condensation piece into the insulating material pipe, thermal bridges of this part of the system are eliminated. The condensate drain hose d16 is fully compatible with the condensate piece, which is only pushed onto the drip elbow. The LUFTooL Trap condensation piece is suitable for exhaust pipes (EHA) - from the heat recovery unit to the exterior. In winter, air flows in this duct with almost 100% humidity when the moisture condensation in the recuperator. It is placed above the heat recovery unit in a vertical duct. Vertical piping at the heated boundary of the thermal envelope is ideal. Place a condensation piece on the bottom of the pipe and cut a hole for the plastic elbow as tightly as possible with a snap-off knife. Insert the condensation piece and fit the top parts of the pipe. Seal the joint airtight with aluminum tape and thermally secure with at least two layers of thermal tape.
