Air volume controller PF with noise dampening effect
Description
These controllers are used to suppress noise and regulate airflow in ventilation systems with heat recovery. They are installed in ceiling boxes or in pipes just before the end element on the supply and exhaust pipes. The PF regulator is made of special plastic acoustic foam with very high damping properties. Adjusting the airflow is simple and quick - just turn the bottom ring.
Use
The silencer is designed for use in circular air distribution systems and is mounted directly in front of the valve or nozzle. It can be used for supply and exhaust pipes. It is used for smooth regulation of airflow and noise suppression of ventilation systems. This is especially useful in situations where the airflow is too high at a given location and control of the terminal element is not possible or generates a lot of noise.
Construction
The shock absorber consists of two foam discs:
- damping element made of soft PUR acoustic polyurethane foam with excellent damping properties, coated on one side with a protective film
- adjustment disc made of rigid polyethylene PE foam.

LUFTOMET® Flat Extension Piece
The extension piece for LUFTOMET® boxes and FLAT grids is suitable for extending boxes for installing the LUFTOMET® system in masonry walls On one side of the wall, the box is connected with screws (LP-SM-4) to the plastic edge of the extension piece. The extension piece is mounted in the wall and possibly shortened to the required length. After finalizing the wall (plaster, etc.), 4 dowels are fitted and an inset is installed in the extension piece, which is anchored to the wall using LP-S-4 screws.
