DUPLEX units switch to a new generation of regulation
DUPLEX units switch to a new generation of regulation
You may have noticed that the popular DUPLEX units with RD5 regulation are already showing as "out of stock" and units with aM (aMotion) regulation have appeared on the e-shop. Therefore, all DUPLEX units that you ordered with RD5 regulation will come with aM regulation.
What exactly is regulation?
Regulation basically means controlling the unit. The regulation of the unit indicates the ability of the unit to control and process signals from external elements such as damper actuators, sensors, etc. At the same time, it indicates the possibility and range of control of the unit. Since the RD5 control was an advanced control, it allowed you to control many external elements and allowed you to access your control to the full extent (smooth power control, weekly mode, ...).
And what changes in the new regulation and how much will I pay extra?
In addition to the name change, the new regulation also brings several novelties. However, the price remains the same .
A novelty that you will notice even before you even put the unit into operation are the accessories. Instead of CP Touch and CP 10 RT controllers comes aTouch and aDot . Both controllers have moved from their previous versions both in terms of design and in terms of intuitive control.

Another big innovation is voltage-free boosts (buttons for instant power increase).

At the same time, a new interface is waiting for you, both on the web server and the cloud, and with the controllers.

So the aM regulation is better than the RD5 and still for the same price?
Yes exactly. You certainly don't have to worry about the transition to the new regulation, on the contrary. You will not lose anything and you will be able to enjoy all the advantages that the new regulation brings.
