MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE OF THE VENTILATION SYSTEM WITH RECOVERY

Filtration

After connecting the unit and the first 14 days of operation, check the filters.
Construction dust, particles from assembling furniture, painting, etc. could have remained in the house. If necessary, remove or replace the filters.

Regular inspection/replacement of filters
Depending on the dustiness of your surroundings, it is necessary to change the filters at regular intervals. Usually this interval is usually 3 months in dusty agglomerations and 6 months in a clean environment.

If you have outlets with filtration, revise them at the same interval.

Using a hood
Whenever you work thermally with oil or fatty products, it is necessary to start the hood so that the grease does not get into the ventilation system . If you use an exhaust hood, remember to equalize the pressure. More about hood solutions in the ventilation system with heat recovery here .

Condensate
1st revision
During the first cold days, the first condensate usually forms in the recuperator, please check that the connection is correct and that it drains smoothly into the siphon. If you do not have a mechanical siphon, e.g. with a ball, it is necessary to check that the loop is filled with water throughout the year.

Duct cleaning and unit service
Cleaning of the pipe system and the unit is carried out by a professional organization at an interval of 3-5 years. As part of the service, the pipes are cleaned from the openings above/behind/under the outlets, from the service openings at the distribution boxes and from the space above the unit. During the service, a complete revision of the unit is carried out - free rotation of the motors, cleaning of the recuperator, checking of fastenings, etc.
